It was the second round tie of the Perth and Kinross Bell Trophy tonight with our team of five up against Kinross. In a match that started in rain of almost monsoon proportions but finished in a gentle summer evening we prevailed in quite a close match.
Wins for Allan Easton 5&4, Scott Thomson 3&1, Iain Butchart 3&1, followed by a one hole reverse for Mark Tinker and a halve for Willie McGregor resulted in a wining margin of 2 matches.
So progress into the last eight and we will see who we are playing in next weeks draw.
Well done all five who represented the club tonight against a really good bunch from Kinross who were very impressed with our golf course.
