Club Championship 2019

On Saturday July 6th the club Championship was played over 36 holes between our Captain Norrie Dyce and committee member Chris Flannigan.

The weather was fantastic with the usual Strathmore wind to keep you on your toes and sometimes in the long grass. (The course is in fantastic shape a huge thank you to Scott and his team for doing such a wonderful job ( and what fertiliser are you using on the rough cos its thick!!).
This was a hotly contested match played in excellent spirits with both players vying for the trophy. There were a lot of truly amazing golf shots struck.
Chris Flannigan emerged as the winner after 35 holes, just after it seemed that Norrie was firming his grip on the trophy. Well played gentlemen.
A big thank you to all the members who came out to watch, the players truly appreciate you coming along to watch and hopefully in the future we get galleries like the OPEN.
 Winner Chris Flannigan.

Runner Up Norrie Dyce
