I hope that this finds you all well and in good health.
As you will have heard competitions are starting again in July, There is a schedule posted on the notice board.
I will outline all the salient points below and hope that we can get back to some good competitions.
- There will be competitions on a Wednesday, for this you will book your own tee time. There is an option to play from the Yellow OR the White tee's. Please indicate which one you choose.
- There will be a draw done for the Saturday competition (or you can book your own tee time). In order to enter the draw for the Saturday please enter via the e-mail address strathmoregents@googlemail.com Or by texting Mike on 07943 682573.
- There will be no competition fee's for July, however there will be a £1.00 sweep and £0.50 twos available, Please bring your money in an envelope pre-marked with all relevant details on.
- You keep your own scorecard, which must be verified by a playing partner, Put the card in the same box that put your envelope in.
- The scoring will take place up to 2-3 days later, for sanitary reasons. All monies will be given a disinfectant bath to ensure safety, all envelopes that winning are in will also be treated.
- The bunkers are in play however if you land in a footprint, you are allowed relief 6 inches no closer to hole
- The committee has decided to catch up the medals for the year so the first Saturday competition is a Medal. If a draw is required it will be in handicap order.
- The committee will review the competition status as we progress through July.
- All Covid advisories and government social distancing regulations ARE in place and must be adhered to, no flagpoles etc. I am sure you know them by heart.
- For the Saturday competitions there are options to play the Yellow tee's if you prefer, please ensure you mark your card and envelope correctly.
- If you cannot make your tee-time please ensure you let Mike or the centre know as we require to keep accurate records for the track and trace regulations.
