Strathmore Golf Club's annual Captain's versus Vice Captains challenge match was held yesterday to mark the opening of the 2011 season. An excellent turnout of 88 members played in rather overcast weather which had a bit of a chill in the air.
For the records the Vice Captains retained Pat's Putter for season 2011.

An excellent £125 was raised by the Members for the Captain's Charities by buying the flags. Thanks also go to Penny and Anka for selling the flags on the day.
