If you have won any money please ensure that you pick it up at the pro shop.
The committee will be making a decision about unclaimed summer winnings very shortly and it may be reallocated if it is not claimed.

Christmas Scramble

A great day at the Christmas Texas Scramble on the 27th. The winners were Billy McGregor, John Stiell and Heather Dawson with a net 50.8.  15 players took part and thanks to Mike Stiell for the prizes and thanks to all who have competed throughout the year.

Draw for Turkey Trot Dec 2nd

Here is the Draw for Saturdays Turkey Trot, the format will be a stableford. 
The greens we play will be dependant on the course if we can we will play to the full greens.
Summer handicaps will apply. 
There is no meal prebooked for this due to the smaller numbers, however it would great if we all stayed for a bite and a social. The winner will receive a 25 pound Butchers gift certificate to the local butcher. ( Just in time for Christmas).

This is a 10 am start hopefully we will get a good turnout, great prizes to be won.

Winter League Singles and Doubles draw

The Winter league Singles and Doubles draw have now been done and are posted on the bulletin board in the clubhouse. Please note that the player at the top of any draw is the one to contact the lower player to set up the match. Also please note the completion dates; failure to meet the completion date will result in a coin toss decision by the committee.

Winter Saturday Stableford

The committee has set up a Saturday Stableford competition which is open all day for you to participate in. There will be a book in the clubhouse,  which gives details of the competition, for you to enter your score after your round. There is no entry fee. Your handicaps will be amended to reflect your scoring. If you have any queries about this please contact the Captain in the first instance on the usual number.

ELEVEN TEAMS OF THREE TOOK PART WHICH WAS MARVELLOUS - WELL DONE TO EVERYONE

6 PEOPLE TOOK PART IN THE BEST HALLOWEEN COSTUME COMPETITION AND THE WINNERS WERE ALISON MCLAREN AND STEWART MCLAREN.  THE JUDGE WAS JOHN (WHO WORKS IN THE SHOP),  THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THE EFFORT.


A SPECIAL THANKS TO ANNE AND CATHY WHO WERE BRAVE ENOUGH TO WEAR THEIR HALLOWEEN COSTUMES ON THE GOLF COURSE.

End Of Season Texas Scramble 29th October

HE END OF SEASON TEXAS SCRAMBLE IS ON SUNDAY 29TH OCTOBER AS 12 NOON.  THE NOTICE IS ON THE BOARD

THE FORMAT IS TWO LADIES AND A GENT OR TWO GENTS AND A LADY.  ENTRY FEE WILL BE £1.00 PER PERSON.

AS THIS IS THE END OF SEASON TEXAS SCRAMBLE AND AS IT WAS LAST YEAR,  PRETTY CLOSE TO HALLOWEEN,  THERE WILL BE A FANCY DRESS COMPETITION FOR LADIES AND GENTS.   THIS OF COURSE IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL.   THERE WILL BE SMALL PRIZES FOR THE BEST COSTUMES.

AS THIS IS THE LAST MIXED COMPETITION OF THE YEAR IT WOULD BE GREAT IF EVERYONE IS ABLE TO STAY FOR THE CARVERY.  LET'S JUST MAKE IT A FUN DAY AT THE END OF A GREAT SEASON.

THE FORMAT FOR THE LADIES - V - GENTS MATCH WILL BE FOURBALL BETTER BALL STABLEFORD WITH THE GENTS PLAYING FROM THE YELLOW TEES.  GENTS USE THEIR STROKE INDEX AND LADIES USE THEIR STROKE INDEX.    TWO LADIES WILL PLAY AGAINST TWO GENTS.THE LADIES WILL RECEIVE  4 STROKES
