Reminder

At our last Committee meeting on Thursday 28th May it was highlighted that a fourball went out in the Wednesday Sweep (20thMay). This is contrary to the rules of the Competition. Can you all ensure that this does not occur again.

Vouchers

If anyone has received vouchers from last years prize giving and still have not cashed them in you only have a few weeks to do so. Failure to act will result in you possibly loosing the entitlement.

Captain's Day

Please note that Captain's Day is on the 6th June. It is a 2 tee start at 10.00. The Captain has decided it will be a stableford competition over the white tees. As an added incentive the Captain will be supplying additional prizes. Please ensure your name is on the entry sheet.

Inter Club Match vs Blairgowrie

The inter club match versus Blairgowrie Golf Club will be on Tuesday 2nd June 2015 with a tee off at 17:30.  A meal will be served in the clubhouse after the golf.  Can all players please be at Strathmore Golf Centre at least 30 minutes prior to your tee off.

I would like to thank all those who put their name down to play in this match, as always there is a person who has to be reserve (sorry Bob, it was a democratic process of a number out of the hat).  If anyone cannot manage the match please contact the match secretary ASAP.

Breaking News

Club Member David Alexander has been picked to represent Great Britain at the 2015 Special Olympics in Los Angeles  in August.

David won a Golfing Gold Medal at the World Games in Athens 2011 also a Gold Medal in the Pentathalon in Glasgow 2005

We wish him all the very best in this latest adventure and look forward to hearing about his exploits on his return

The format for the match is a twelve man team, four ball better ball.
