Our two green-keepers Scott Robertson and Scott Thomson were on fine form yesterday at Kinghorn where they retained their titles at the Bigga meeting. Congratulations well done guys.

Can I remind all members that when the draw is posted on the blog by any member of the Committee your tee time will not be amended under any circumstances. This happened last Saturday when The Competition Secretary's agreed to move one club member from pm to am. This was done in good faith given the explanation for the change but was an incorrect decision. See 6.4 of your fixture book. The Competition Secretary tries to accommodate all members requests when they put their name down for each draw, and will continue to do so.

72 Hole Trophy Round Two Draw

The draw for Saturday is now attached. The Competition Secretary has had a difficult week after the comments made on the blog on Sunday. Glad to say that he is now in a better place mentally. Special mention must go to Gents Competition Secretary who must be needing some medical treatment having been in the job for 2 years and after Saturday playing from the wrong Tee on 13 claimed he had left his wedge on the second green arrived back at the club after 18 to find it had been handed in to the office. FOUND in the carpark, normal golfers usually go to the practice ground first, must have been in a hurry.

Summer Competitions

The draw for all the summer knock out competitions have been made. This was completed today by three members of the Committee which ensured fairness. Although when some members look at the draw they will wonder. April Medal Draw

It's the start of the season and the birds have flown. Please see attached draw, in handicap order, for Saturday.

Five Day Warning

Can I remind all club members that the closing date for the summer knock out competitions is the 4th April.

The sheets will be removed this Sunday AM and all entries will be checked against the membership lists. Those who do not appear as paid their club memberships will not be entered into the competitions. If there is no partner next to your name in the either the foursomes or doubles the Competition Secretary will  try and link to any other single names on the sheet. Please be aware that if there are no spare names you will not be entered in these competitions and your entry fee will be returned.
