Winter League Leaderboard

SUMMER KNOCK-OUT COMPETITIONS

The entry sheets for the summer competitions, Singles, Doubles and Foursomes have been posted on the Gents notice board today. Entry fee is a pound per person for all the above competitions. Please put your entry fees in an envelope and placed into the box. Please clearly mark which competition you are entering as it will help me. Also please ensure that you have paid your club membership.

CAPTAIN'S DRIVE-IN

It's the start of the season and the Captain's Drive In will be held on the 24th March with a shot gun start of 10.45am. Please come early to place your flag. 

The format will be 4 ball, better ball stableford and we are looking for a good turn out for the start of the season. 

Entry sheets have been posted in the Ladies & Gents changing rooms. 

LEITFIE LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Leitfie Links Championship will be held on Sunday 11th March. Draw Sheet has been posted on the Gents notice board. Closing date will be on Thursday 8th March.

MAIL ON SUNDAY TEAM COMPETITION

We have just been informed that we have been drawn at home against local rivals Alyth Golf Club in this years Mail on Sunday Team Competition on Saturday 3rd March, with an 11.00am start. Therefore we require a team of 5 Members who wish to play in this event. There will be an entry sheet in the Gents changing room tomorrow  (Friday) for those wishing to play. This sheet will be there until Sunday 26th February. Rule Changes

As most members will be aware there have been changes to the Rules of Golf which came into effect on 1 January 2012. Copies of the new rule book are available in the clubhouse and the R&A has produced useful advice and video tutorials on the rule changes on its website. Winter League Recommences

The work at the 6th hole has progressed to the stage where the hole is now back in play. Accordingly the winter league will recommence with effect from Sunday 19 February.

Winter League - Play remains suspended

The work at the 6th hole is not yet concluded and the hole remains out of play. Unfortunately this means a further suspension of play in the winter league. Further time will be allowed for ties in the knockout competitions but please contact the competition secretary to agree new dates. The alternative will be to play ties over 17 holes but that decision will be made if the work is likely to be extended beyond the next 7 days.
