The next Mixed event is the Mixed Invitational on the 31st August. Please try and get a partner from another club to enter, you can use one of your vouchers to let your guest play free and there are vouchers for the first three places and spot prizes for the usual nearest the pins and longest drives.
There will also be a two course meal at a cost of £25.00 per couple.

MICHAEL BRODIE BECOMES GENTS COUNTY STROKE PLAY CHAMPION

Well done Michael on winning the Gents County stroke play Championship yesterday at Pitlochry with a magnificent score of 135 and finishing 2 strokes ahead of the field.

Endurance Trophy

The draw for the above competition is posted below. My thanks to members of the club who spotted my deliberate errors(2).  Please note the entry fee is £1.00 but each round is separate in respect of the twos and sweep. After a number of phone calls and so called witty remarks about the time it takes to post the draw here is the draw. Please note that the entry fee is £2.00 this week.

Result from the Presidents Cup

On what must have been the hottest Saturday this season sixty odd "summery" dressed golfers teed it up for a shotgun start.

Lots of scores of 36 points and above but top score of 40 points went to 

Sandra Barber Ladies Vice Captain making it a double for the Barber's as our Gents Vice Captain won it a few years ago.

Thanks also to the centre for providing iced water on the 18th green, maybe the next time a plunge pool might be more apt as numerous player were exhausted by the finish.
