Dear Member,
Over recent months a number of members have said they would
be interested in club apparel, and the committee has been looking into this. We
are pleased to tell you that a range of golfwear embroidered with the club logo
is now available to order. It is ideal for wearing when representing the club
at events or matches, or simply for flying the Strathmore flag wherever you
play.
We looked at a number of suppliers and chose the one that
offered the best value for money while still giving members high-quality
products. The range has three items (see attached image):
• Polo shirt
• Mid-layer (quarter zip)
• Jacket
With the festive season approaching, any of these items
would also make an ideal Christmas gift. We cannot guarantee a delivery
date until the order has been placed with the supplier. However, we will place
the order as soon as possible after the closing date so the items reach members
as quickly as we can manage.
Gents' Section Subsidy
In recent years our fundraising events have been very successful, and local
companies have generously sponsored the annual Mixed-Pairs Scramble. As a
result, the Gents' Section has surplus funds available to be utilised. The
committee proposes to use these funds for the benefit of all members by
subsidising the cost of these items.
All members who order embroidered items will receive a
subsidy from Gents' Section funds. The committee will set the level of the
subsidy once all orders are in and the final numbers are known, and members
will be told the amount after that decision is made.

is needed when you order. Payment details will follow in due course and will be
