Remember that it's your handicap on the day that you use. Please agree this before teeing off.

Final reminder for paying entry fees for Summer Knockouts, if you haven't paid by Saturday lunchtime then you're not in the draws.
There's no excuse as you've all been emailed a reminder as well.

Congratulations to Mike Stiell and Sandra Millar who won the Gary Smith Shield after battling strong winds and the odd squall.
Dreya Wood and Brian McGowan were second with Diane and Gary McLuskey third.
Nearest to the pin for the Ladies was Christine Bruce and for the Gents Kevin Drysdale.

GENTLE REMINDER THAT SUMMER KNOCKOUT ENTRIES CLOSE ON 19th APRIL AND QUITE A FEW STILL TO PAY ENTRY FEES.
IF YOU HAVEN'T PUT YOUR ENTRY FEE IN THE GENT'S BOX BEFORE THE DRAWS, THEN SORRY, BUT THIS YEAR YOU WILL NOT BE IN THE DRAWS.

Congratulations to Julie and Alan Izzard who won the Collins Trophy with Hilary Thomson and Mark Scott coming second.
Judy Goodfellow won the spot prize on the 6th hole.
Unfortunately the competition had to be played over 9 holes due to hail sleet and freezing wind.
Next week will be the Gary Smith trophy.
The format will be a two person Texas scramble.

The format for the Summer Mixed Knockouts is Foursomes Matchplay.
Gents will tee off on the first hole and subsequent odd numbered holes, from the Yellow tees. Ladies will tee off on the even numbered holes from the Red tees. There after it is alternative strokes.
Handicap
allowances are calculated by taking 50% of the difference between each team's
combined course handicaps, rounded to the nearest whole number, with the team
with the higher handicap receiving the allowance. Maximum handicap allowance is
36 for Ladies and 28 for Gents
The Ladies stroke
index will be used.
