GENTS CLUB
CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 – Saturday 25 July
Todays saw the finals of the Strathmore Golf Club Championship. It was a cracking day, nice and warm but with varied winds throughout – the gusts tended to coincide with the tee shots! This was the culmination of 2 qualifying rounds of strokeplay followed by a knockout phase of the top 8 from each section.
The Gents had 3 finals and here’s some pics and the
results from each of them.
This was a 36 hole contest off the Blue tees between
Chris Flannigan and Scott Thomson. Scott
held a slender one-hole lead through the first 18 holes and then ended up
victorious winning 5&4 in the end.

The was an 18 hole contest off the White tees between our
Club Captain Gavin Greig and Mike Cormie.
Mike got off to a great start winning the first 4 holes and held on for
a 5&4 victory.

This was another 18 hole contest off the Yellow tees
between Colin Crighton and Scott Downie.
Scott emerged victorious with a score of 3&2.
