The format for the day is 4bbb stroke play, please only enter the best score on each hole i.e. player A or B. on the card. As this is a non counting competition play off your full course handicap (not 85%) white tees 

There will be various spot prizes and vouchers for the winners and runners-up.

There is no set menu for the day therefore the cost is the usual £1 entry and optional sweep & 2s -- ENJOY--

Strathmore League Final

 Unfortunately we were beaten in a tie break on Sunday. after the match was drawn 3 all. The  tie was decided on holes won and Kirriemuir ran out 13-8 winners. No one was sure about how to decide the match if it was drawn but both captains agreed before the match this was the fairest way (how I wish it was the first group going out again!) But all joking aside congratulations  to Kirrie for winning and  for the sporting manner in which the tie was played. Also I think the greenkeepers deserve congratulations because although they weren't on the course on Sunday it played played superbly and stood up to all the elements could throw at it overnight an early morning.  Thanks also to the centre for the tee times provided for the semi's and final days and best catering in the league all season. Finally thank you to all the players who played in the matches throughout the season helping get us as far as the final, a great team/ club effort.

Strathmore League

 A great result on Sunday when we qualified for the final of the Strathmore League by virtue of a 4.5/1.5 victory over Kingennie

The match was played in a very sporting manner with most matches going to the 18th to decide the result.

We now take on Kirriemuir in the final on Sunday, first tee time 13.15. We have a full squad to pick from and the team will be announced on Wednesday evening.

 After a great day of golf on Captain Gary's Day where the weather stayed nice for us, the winner on the day was Brian Warrender with 40 Points (Sandy take note)

There was also £141:00 raised for Charity from the Gents, well done.

Gary would like to thank everyone for turning up and supporting him on his day today, very much appreciated.

FOOD MUST BE ORDERED BEFORE TEEING OFF USING THE SHEET IN THE CLUBHOUSE.

THIS COMPETITION IS ONLY OPEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE ENTERED THE DRAW, NO ENTRY PLAYING OUT WITH THE DRAW TIMES.

WOODEN SPOON RESULT

                      Congratulation to the gentlemen golfers of Strathmore 

The gents had a resounding victory over the ladies yesterday, winning by a huge margin of 8 stableford points

 Captain Gary McLuskey presented the wooden spoon to Ladies captain Anne Baird for safe keeping for another year

 A grand total of £164.00 was raised for the SCAA.  Thank you to everyone for their generous donations. . .

Strathmore league semi final

 On Sunday the 28th of September  the semi finals of the Strathmore League will be payed at Strathmore Golf Club 

We have been drawn to play Kingennie in the first match with a first tee time of 11.52 

 

The following players have been selected and as per the rules of the competition must go out in handicap order. If there are any changes to the handicaps between now and the weekend the mid order may have to be moved around
