We are well into November and the weather has been very good for us all.
You will have received notification of your matches for the Winter Knockouts, both singles and doubles.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRY FOR THESE ARE £1 PER PERSON PER EVENT.
I have received a fair amount of the entry fees but am still missing a few. If you haven't paid for your entry then please do so by the 21st of November. Failure to do this will result in your name being removed for the knockouts.
Some of the matches are already under way and it is only fair that everyone has prepaid their entry. This will avoid any ill feeling as the deadlines approach.
Thank you for your attention to this.
For the winter league please ensure that you fill out your card correctly, this includes; Name, Date, Week Number and Handicap. Failure to do so will result in a DQ!
Also please note that Bunkers are out of play for the winter season, and it is preferred lies through to the Green.
IF YOU ARE TAKING RELIEF FROM A BUNKER, THEN YOU MUST TAKE RELIEF AT A POINT NO CLOSER TO THE HOLE THAN WHERE THE BALL CAME TO REST. ( NOT THE POINT OF ENTRY).
Also all winter competitions are based on your winter handicap which is 75% of your summer handicap.
