 Here is the draw for Round 1 of the 72 Hole Competition.

Captain's Drive In Results.

 

The final result from The Captain's Drive In on Saturday was a win for the Vice Captain's team by 5 points.

It was 2187 to 2192, so all in all very close and a great day was had by all in the cold weather.

A great buffet provided by The Centre as they always do.

Many thanks to the Greenkeepers, the course is in great shape.

The flag closest to the Captain's drives was won by Chris Upton for the Gents, and Christine Bruce for the Ladies.

Longest drive for the men was won by Chris Flannigan. 

Closest to the pin on 13 was won by Paul Lothian.

Ladies Longest drive was won by Jane Millar.  

Closest to the pin on 6 was won by Lorraine Wallace.

Overall there was a great total of £300 raised for the Captain's Charities, Thank you all.

Captain's Drive In 2023 (Amended)

 Hello Gents,

Attached is the draw for the Captain's Drive In.

Can you please be at The Centre for  0930 onward to buy and place your flag where you think your Captain's drive will land, and help benefit the day's charities. Flag nearest the ball will win a prize.

Captain's team if possible can you wear Red, and Vice Captain's team if you can please wear Blue.

Captain's will tee off at 1045 with the rest a shotgun start at 1100.

Can you sign into the competition as normal to allow your handicaps to come up, but hand your cards to the Captains at the end, please don't input your score into the computer, let the Captains earn their corn.

Play Well.

Can you please be aware that once you have signed into one competition then you can't play in the other.

New way for the competitions so takes a bit of getting used to.

Draw and dates will then be published here and on the Gents Section in the Clubhouse.

Summer Knockouts

Summer Knockouts are now live to sign into on Howdidido and on the Psi at The Centre.

Singles, Doubles and Foursomes are there and it is £1:00 per person per competition.

Sign in to them and put your entry fees in an envelope into the Gent's Box at the Centre.

Scott Thomson is again doing the honours looking after these competitions.

 Gents,

To those that knew former Club Captain David Grant, I'm sorry to say that he has sadly passed away.

His funeral service will be held at Perth Crematorium on Friday 24th March at 4pm for those who wish to pay their respects.

Yellow Tee 36 Hole Competition Change.

 Gents,

Just to let you know of a couple of changes to competitions after the fixture book has been sent out.

It was noticed that the Yellow Tee 36 Hole Competition was drawn alongside the 72 Hole Competition which meant that you could only play in one of the competitions.

The 72 Hole Competition dates remain unchanged with the Yellow Tee part being replaced with a Yellow Strokeplay Competition.

The Yellow Tee 36 Hole Competition has been moved to April 29th for Round 1, and May 27th for Round 2.

The Turkey Trot on Saturday 10th December has an option for a meal after play.

The meal costs £18:00 for two courses which includes an additional member discount applied by The Centre.

If you would like to come for the lunch and not play golf on the day, can you call the Centre direct.
