Can you also make sure that entry fees are paid in BEFORE teeing off and into the correct box, the Gent's box is the tall wooden one behind the Senior's box.

COLLINS TROPHY

 Congratulation to Kevin Drysdale and Judy Goodfellow winners of the Collins trophy on Sunday with a magnificent 47 points beating Dave and Margaret Anderson with 45 points. 

Another great turnout of 18 teams and thanks to Fred and Sandra for organising the day and to Sally for checking the cards and generally keeping everyone in order after the competition

Results from today's Catlaw Extra Medal Round 1

 

 Hello Everyone,

It's good to get the season underway and to have such a good turn out for our opening medals today, long may this continue.

Please remember we are in Competition season and it is £2.50 for entry, sweep and 2's and that the entry to the Saturday Draw CLOSES at Lunchtime on a Thursday, and once the draw is done, IT'S DONE..

Please also ensure that your scorecards are filled out correctly with Competition Name, Date and Tees played. We will be monitoring this closely and incorrect scorecards will be DQ'd.

The Summer Knockouts are available, please sign up or contact Scott Thomson.

There is also a Summer League to be played in this year which starts on Monday 4th April and runs from Monday to Friday and is played off either White or Yellow Tees with a maximum of 2 cards per week, per Tee, this runs through to September where there will be a playoff for the top 4 in each league on your 10 best cards. The cost is £2.50 for the entire year and Chris Flannigan will be looking after this. If interested pop your money in the Gent's box.

If you have any questions regarding the season please don't hesitate to contact Craig over the Weekly Medals, Scott over the Summer Knockouts and Chris over the Summer League.

CAPTAINS DRIVE IN

 Thank you to all Gents, Ladies and Junior members who took part in the opening match of the Season- Captains V Vice - Captains in glorious sunshine. 

Everyone looked great in their red outfits for the Captains team and blue for the Vice- Captains team.Grateful thanks for raising £245 which will be split between  Guide Dogs for the Blind Training Centre, Forfar and Alzheimer Scotland.

Captains Drive IN Draw Amended

 Here is the draw for the Captains Drive-In on Saturday the 26th March.

Please arrive early and if you can enter your score on your own device then please do so following the game, (just to save a clamour at the PSI). 

Don't forget to buy your Flag for the Captains drive marker. All money raised is donated to Captain's Charities

Leitfie Links Championship

 The Leitfie Links Championship was held on Sunday the 20th.

Conditions were really good and the course is in good shape.

Iain Butchart won the Gross Championship with a score of 56

John Stiell won the Net championship winning in a countback with a score of 53

He beat Mark Melville with a better back 9.

It was agreed with the players that 2's would not be paid out (only a hole in one).

There were none so the funds will go to the Captains charity.
