Captains Drive In 2019

The Captains Drive In draw and rules for the competition is posted below.

Please arrive at the club for around 10:00 to purchase flags for the Captains Charities, which are Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland and JDRF Scotland (Type 1 Diabetes).

Captains Team wear something RED and the Vice Captains Team wear something BLUE

A buffet will be served following the golf.

Leitfie Links Championship - 2019

Today saw the Leitfie Links Championship played for the first time over the new 9 hole layout of the Leitfie Course.

Leitfie Links Challenge Results

There were 11 players today in very windy conditions.

The Leitfie Links Trophy is coming up on Sunday 24th March.
This competition is open to all so sign up in the Gents folder or let Mike Stiell know that you want to play.
First tee off is 10am. Draw will be made this Thursday at 2pm.
All sign up sheets for knock outs and the April competitions are now in the Gents folder.
Captains Drive-In is on the 30th March.

TEE TIMES ARE FROM 1030 TILL 1200.  TIMES FOR 24 PLAYERS HAVE BEEN BOOKED SO IT’S FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. END OF WINTER SEASON MIXED SCRAMBLE

To  mark the last Sunday  of winter golf there will be a mixed scramble on the 10th of March. A sign in sheet has been put on the mixed board. Please put your name down and a draw will be made on Thursday the 7th for times and teams. As the name would suggest this fun competition will be played over the winter course.

Sair Heid Bash 2019

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

A huge thank you to the 31 New Year revellers who turned up to play in the 2019 Sair Heid Bash.  A few mince pies, some honeycomb and a few chocolate truffles before teeing off just for the energy levels you understand!!

 A gloriously sunny day with a wee nip in the air, the course looking stunning in its white winter jacket.

The format today was a Texas Scramble on the winter course.  The winners today with a nett score of 54.5 (Scratch 63) were Linda Irons, Phil Upperton and Sandy McGibbon. Well Done Guys!!!

Closest to the pin at the 4th was Sheila Bailey for the Ladies and Brian Milne for the Gents.

The next event on the calendar is the Captains Drive In on Saturday 30th March, see you then.

Post Christmas Texas Scramble

After Santa had safely delivered all the presents and after everyone had eaten too much over the past two days, 22 Post Christmas Texas Scramblers turned up to play on Thursday. The winners with a score of 57.3 (Scratch 66) was Captain Christine Bruce, Rhoda Fraser, Fred Barber and Captain Norman Dyce.

Again the course was in fantastic condition, the newly cut greens were impeccable and a delight to play.

Thank you to all who helped and took part and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Sair Heid Bash on January 2nd.  Happy New Year when it arrives.

Mixed Christmas Competition on 27th Dec

There is a mixed Christmas competition on the 27th December.
If you wish to play in it then please show up at the club at 10:15am as the draw will take place on the day. Tee off will be at 11am.
There is also a sign up sheet on the mixed notice board.

The entry sheet for the Sair Heid Bash on the 2nd of January is also on the notice board.

The committee would like to wish all members a safe and Happy Xmas.

Gents Turkey Trot Sat Oct 1st

Hello folks, This Saturday is the Gents Turkey Trot as we have very few numbers playing we are not going to have any food organised for this.
So come along and play for the Gift certificate a welcome bonus just before Xmas.
There will also be a sweep and 2's to play for.
