IF YOU HAVE A TEAM AND ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING IN THIS MIXED COMPETITION PLEASE ADD YOUR NAMES TO THE NOTICE ON THE MIXED BOARD. 

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A TEAM BUT WOULD LIKE TO PLAY PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME UP ON THE BOARD AND ERIC AND I WILL DO OUR BEST TO GET YOU A GAME.

Captain's Day

As you are are aware the Captain's day is on Saturday 27th August and a meal is normally provided after the golf.  The Captain would appreciate that anyone who wishes to play in this event and wishes a meal  has their name on the entry sheet by TUESDAY 23RD AUGUST. This will allow the centre time to prepare for the number of meals which have to be provided. Any questions about this post please contact the Captain.

Next weeks draw will be completed by the cast of Rainbow as they will have more chance of getting the correct information in the first place before the draw is made.

Endurance Trophy

My thanks to the club member who pointed out that I failed to announce the winner of Endurance Trophy gross. It just goes to prove that someone actually reads the blog.

The winner was Scott Thomson.

2nd Michael Shepherd with a score  140
3rd Kenny Beattie with a score 142

All monies due for the morning and afternoon rounds will be ready for collection this Wednesday.

Endurance Competition

As a result of technical problems i am unable to close this competition tonight. The Vice Captain  will hopefully be able to complete these tasks tomorrow and advise accordingly.

Inter Club Match vs King James VI

A huge thank you to all those who put their name down and to those who answered the late call to play in the match.

Club Championship & Tankard Results

The Club Championship & Tankard Finals were held last Saturday.

In the Club Championship Scott Robertson defeated Norman Dyce in a very close game at the 37th hole.

Kenny Beattie defeated Mark Melville 4 &2 in the Tankard.
