April Medal Draw

It's the start of the season and the birds have flown. Please see attached draw, in handicap order, for Saturday.

Five Day Warning

Can I remind all club members that the closing date for the summer knock out competitions is the 4th April.

The sheets will be removed this Sunday AM and all entries will be checked against the membership lists. Those who do not appear as paid their club memberships will not be entered into the competitions. If there is no partner next to your name in the either the foursomes or doubles the Competition Secretary will  try and link to any other single names on the sheet. Please be aware that if there are no spare names you will not be entered in these competitions and your entry fee will be returned.

RESULTS CAPTAIN'S DRIVE IN

On a dry but bitterly cold day the Drive In was a closely contested battle
 with The Captain's Team narrowly winning by 4 points 

586 points to 582

Kay Finlay won the  prize for nearest the Lady Captain' s Drive 

and Graham Haynes  for the Gent's Captain

Winter League Announcement

The Competition Secretary has been advised that the final placings in the Winter League which were blogged on 18th March 2014 were incorrect. The Competition Secretary would like to apologise for this error and thank the club member who pointed this out.

Summer Knock - Out Competitions

As you know summer is almost round the corner. Whippee.

Your Competition Secretary has put in the folder the entry sheets for the Summer Singles, Summer Doubles and the Summer Foursomes.

The closing date for those competitions is Friday 4th April with the draw being made the following week.

To help the Competition Secretary can I ask all competitors to write their name clearly on the sheets as failure to do so may lead to your name not being entered in the draw.

Further more can you use a separate envelope for each competition. This will help the Competition Secretary no end.
