Will members please ensure that they tick the entry sheet in the clubhouse prior to playing in the competitions. This is causing problems when i have to reconcile the entry fees against members who have played. After discussing this issue with the Captain the decision has been made to disqualify any member who fails to follow the correct guidelines.
I have noticed recently that there is trend for members who have N/R in a competition have then failed to enter their score in the computer and also place their card in the box. It is important for handicapping purposes that all scores including N/R's are entered in accordance with the guidelines i have described.
Can i remind all members to put their name,date and name of competition on the envelopes when signing in. It is becoming a trend that envelopes are marked with the entry fee only and this makes reconciling the money very difficult.
